Introducing.... Sawyer John!!

The newest Hump has made his big arrival. Has it really been a month?!? Geez. Time flies the second time around. Sawyer John Humphrey was born on March 25th a little after 8am. He weighed in at 6lbs 14oz and was 19 inches long. Apart from the greyish color that all newborns have, he looks a LOT like Blayne. Oh and except for the dark hair too. He is beautiful and perfect and adorable and, well, see for yourself.
Us headed to the hospital (at a ridiculous hour I might add - we had to be there at 5am!!!).

Oh my gosh, did we make that?? Look at that face! It's still pretty amazing to me how much he looks like Blayne... all except for the lips. Sawyer has these big ol poochy lips and I have no idea who he got them from. Our hospital stay was pretty unremarkable. I was able to recover in my room so I was back there holding Sawyer about an hour after he was born. Other than that, not much to report - and that's just what we were hoping for! (One of the nurses did comment on our obsession with Sawyer's first poo. Haha.)

Home at last and snuggled up in his little bed....

It's crazy how you can love someone so much, so quickly and how they can become an indispensable part of your lives so fast. It's only been 6 weeks since we brought him home and he just fits like he was always there.
